Danish translation and localization

If you, or your company, need to communicate in Danish, let mm.translation be your partner. In order to meet your specific demands, I offer translation, proofreading, text revision or consultancy in a Danish-language context. A native Dane, I know the quirks of the Danish language and how to communicate effectively.

The newborn baby

Hoping to help companies and public institutions strengthen communication, I started mm.translation in the summer of 2009. It is my aim to serve ' costumers in a reliable and swift manner while maintaining a high quality level. Satisfied costumers, it seems to a lot of people, tend to come back. I agree. This is why I will go out of my way to meet your demands and deadlinesno half-hearted jobs, no exorbitantly priced services.

Quality, punctuality and fair pricing

I wish to build a rapport with my costumers, a rapport of trust and satisfaction on both parts. Because I am new in the business, I am very competitive with regards to price: proof-reading is set a starting rate of DKK 0.25 per word, and translation services begin at DKK 0.95 per translated word. Short texts (1000 words or less) I translate, proof-read and return within 24 hours.

Step one, step two

I have worked confidently with a variety of written communication pieces: academic articles in the realms of the humanities and the sciences, reports, essays, proof-reading, website communication, news articles and, of course, translation. In the future, however, I would like to work more with hospitality, tourism and food writing while still providing general communication services.

The Canadian connection

For three years, I studied English and journalism for at Thompson Rivers University, British Columbia, Canada. During that time period, I lived, breathed, ate, thought and spoke English. Thus, I work confidently with a wide range of text communication forms. A straight-A student and receiver of the Roger H. Barnsley Award, I am used to meeting the requirements of academic writing while knowing the more straightforward techniques of technical writing and journalism.
